Message: “Easter Service” from Pastor Todd Evans

The other day I saw something that made me proud and disappointed at the same time. While at the dentist, my daughter thanked her for the popsicle for doing a good job. The dentist looked at her with a face that indicated she doesn't get thanked very often. How sad that gratitude is not given to other people for things. But it's not entirely surprising to see that as very few people are grateful, instead feeling entitled. Many Christians are the same with God, and offer gratitude to Him rarely. We see in our study of Acts that Paul is grateful even after continuous struggles. We learn this, and another important lesson in our study this week. Read Acts 18:18-22 and we'll see you Sunday!

From Series: "Acts"

The biggest blockbuster movies right now are superhero stories. One of the reasons is that people envision having the powers that many characters display, even though we know we can never have them. This week as we get back to the book of Acts, we see that there is a power out there that is more powerful than anything else. In the midst of looking at that, we see a very powerful lesson for our everyday lives. Read Acts 3:1-10 and we'll see you Sunday!
