Wednesday Morning Small Group

BCC Wednesday Morning Small group meets at 10 am

Our Purpose

Wednesday Morning Small Group meets for the purpose of growing in the Lord and in fellowship with like-minded people, intentionally gathering, and meeting regularly to join God's mission.  The Bible teaches us about God's mission and our part in it.  (Matthew 22:37-40)

Also in Matthew 28 verses, 18-20, we read - "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age." (Matthew 28:18-20)

What We Study

You may be wondering what we study.  Our general format includes our time of Bible study. We have read many different lessons in the past and have grown in Christ from each one.

This fall (2022) our lessons will come from Charles Stanley’s book entitled Listening To God.

Our Format

Wednesday morning Small Group gathers in the church fellowship room at 10 am. Our time begins with snacks and a time of fellowship. Each week one of the ladies takes a turn in providing a light snack.

Our Prayer Time

After our lesson, we take prayer requests and have prayer time before we leave. We have committed to confidentiality with our prayer requests. To us, that means “what is shared in our small group, stays in our small group”. This is out of respect for each other.

When We Meet

Traditionally, we meet on the first, third, and fourth Wednesday of each month from 10 am to 12 [noon]. We look forward to seeing one another each time when we meet and talk about what God is doing in our lives.

Currently, our group is made up of mostly women, but we have welcomed men into our group.

If you are looking for a small group experience and one that meets during the day, we'd love to have you check us out.
